72 hours instructor register
4. Purpose of processing personal data
The register stores data on instructors, course leaders and training organisations related to the 72 hours training concept. Data is needed by SPEK in order to carry out customer service and quality control and monitoring of training courses is collected and stored in the system. The data is also used for the development of training.
5. Information content of the register
The register is used to store the first and last name, email address, phone number and place of residence of persons who have completed the 72 hours training and information on whether they represent an organisation. The register also stores data on training completed and consents granted by the data subject.
6. Regular sources of data
Data is collected directly from the trained persons themselves. Data subjects have consented to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes. Data subjects have the right to withdraw their consent at any time by contacting the controller.
7. Informing data subjects
Persons who participate in the 72 hours instructor training are informed that their data are stored in the training register and used for customer service and monitoring of training. Participants are also informed that their personal data is published in the instructor search only with their written consent. Persons who participate in other 72 hours training are informed of the processing of personal data when the data is collected. The privacy statement for personal data processing is available on the 72 hours website.
8. Regular disclosures of data
Personal data in the register may be published in the instructor search on the www.72tuntia.fi website with the consent of the registered instructor. Only the instructor’s name and email address and/or phone number and, optionally, the organisation represented are published. Instructors may request the removal of their personal data from the public instructor search at any time. The controller may disclose data related to training completed by data subjects when required by Finnish authorities. We will never transfer data outside the EU or the European Economic Area.
9. Right to rectification or erasure of data
All data subjects have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data in the register or the erasure of their data. Requests for rectification can be sent to the controller by email.
10. Data protection principles of the register
Personal data is stored with confidentiality. SPEK’s networks and equipment used to store the registers are protected by firewalls and other networks technical safeguards.
